French Onion Hummus with Zesty Relish

INGREDIENTS:

  • Firehook Ithaca™ Hummus French Onion Crackers 
  • Ithaca™ Hummus French Onion Hummus

For the relish:

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp mustard seeds
  • ¼ cup chopped cornichons
  • 2 tbsp chopped chives
  • 2 tbsp chopped dill or parsley
  • ½ tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp white wine or champagne vinegar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Add the mustard seeds and olive oil to a small pot over medium-low heat. Heat until the mustard seeds just start to brown and become fragrant, 3-5 minutes. Allow to cool, then add to the remaining ingredients and mix.
  2. Top Ithaca French Onion Hummus with the relish 
  3. Serve with Firehook Crackers
